Terms Of Service
Quotes and contact:
By submitting a quote and paying for a commission, you agree to the listed terms of service on this page.
A quote is valid for one month. After that period, a new quote has to be requested. A quote is personal to you and the character you submitted.
Quotes are usually given in EUR, but will be given in DKK instead, if either the submitter is from Denmark or the submitter requests this.
I can only give a quote with a clear, non-shaded, preferably digital, safe for work character sheet, with at least two full body poses (front and back).
Your character has to belong to you. Submitting a stolen character, or an AI-generated character will result in being blacklisted.
If your character reference is out of date, notify me of the changes to your character when submitting your quote, so that there will be no misunderstandings during the building process.
After a quote has been given, only very minor design changes can be requested (like eye colour, tongue shape, etc). Bigger changes will be subjected to a fee. Changes will need to be mentioned as soon as possible and before it becomes relevant; otherwise I may not be able to honor them.
I do not give quotes to people underneath the age of 18, as I do not work directly with minors. A picture of a valid ID showing only name and date of birth is required to place an order. Pictures of ID are never stored anywhere, and will be deleted as soon as I have confirmed the age.
A parent or guardian can apply for a quote and a commission slot on behalf of a minor. All communication and payment have to go through said parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must fill out the quote form with their own infomation, and make a note that they are applying on behalf of a minor.
Requesting a quote does not gurantee you a slot in my queue. It requires mutual agreement and a 50% non-refundable deposit for you to have the slot secured.
Shipping is not included in the quote. It will be calculated and paid by the time the order has been completed.
Contact is through e-mail. Please allow up to 3 workdays for replies.
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, with or without any explanation.
Photos and copyright:
I have full copyright of any photos I take during the building process, as well as of the finished product.
I reserve the right to freely use any photos taken by myself during the building process and of the finished product for commercial use.
If a commission is requested to not be published during the building process and after completion on my social medias, website and portofoilo, an extra fee of +30% of the given quote will be charged on top.
Payment:
A 50% non-refundable down payment is required to secure your slot. These 50% goes into buying the materials needed for your fursuit.
Once accepted for a slot, you will have 7 weekdays to pay at minimum the 50% non-refundable down payment, If you fail to pay, the transaction will be cancelled and the slot will go to someone else.
Full payment up-front is preferred, but payment plans are also avaiable.
In the event that a payment plans is wanted, an agreement on how many % is to be paid a month. Please commit to the payment plan, failure to upkeep it and not paying nor communcating for 3 months straight will be treated as voiding the contract and the project will be considered abandoned. Any payments made will be refunded, with the exception of the 50% non-refundable down payment. ‘
In the event that you will be delayed on the payment plan, please be upfront as soon as you are able to, and we will find a solution.
The suit will not be started until everything is paid off.
Do not commit to buying if you cannot afford it.
Payment are to be done by international bank transfer. I do not accept payments through Paypal.
Materials:
I do not work with real fur, all of my suits are made out of faux fur.
I strongly prefer buying my materials from certain sites, and therefore I will not accept getting a certain faux fur shipped to me from the commissioner.
Please be aware that I cannot gurantee that the material I use will not change dye lot colour or go out-of-stock in the future. If you order parts from me in the future, the colours may therefore not always be a 100% match.
In case that you know that you will be upgrading your fursuit with extra items in the future, it can be requested that extra materials from the same dye lots gets ordered with the materials for your current order. This has to be requested when submitting a quote, as I require a deposit – usually between 100 to 300 EUR – that will be added onto the initial quote, and later deducted from the price of any future parts ordered. The extra materials will be stored for up to 2 years, after that time period it may be used of other projects.
ALLERGY WARNING: All suits are made in a seperate workshop room in my wife and I’s personal home. However, our home also houses a cat, and while she isn’t allowed into the workshop under any circumstances, I cannot avoid getting cat hairs in there via my clothing.
Please do not commission if you are allergic to cats.
Cancellation:
If you have to cancel your order for any reasons, refunds will be given based on the amount of work completed:
- If your commission has not been started, I will refund you all payments you have made so far, minus the 50% deposit.
- If work has started, I will partially refund you based on the amount of work that has been completed.
- If I have to cancel your order, you will be refunded 100%.
- Finished orders cannot be refunded.
In case of a cancellation, already finished parts will, if possible, be altered and sold at my discretion.
Deadlines and wait time:
I do not work with strict deadlines, but I will give you a rough estimate on when to expect your order to be completed.
If you are hoping to have your suit by a certain date/event, please let me know when submitting your quote, and I will do my best to meet your request.
Suits are scheduled to be completed within 12 months after the order has been fully paid. In the event of an unexpected delay, per example if the faux fur chosen for the project is out of stock for a longer period of time, the production time may take longer than 12 months.
Shipping:
I ship tracked and fully insured worldwide via PostNord.
If you are not located in EU, please be aware of any import fees you may get. I am not responsible for these, and they must be paid by the receiver. I will not lie about the value on the customs form.
As soon as I have shipped off your suit, it is out of my hands, and I am not responsible for any possible damages done during transit. I always pack my suits as well as I can, and if anything does arrive damaged, I will gladly advise on how to fix it.
Warranty:
As soon as the suit is in your possession, there is a 2 month warranty period. If there are any flaws that is the product of the production process, I can fix it for you. Regular wear-and-tear in not included in the warranty.
Fursuits are warm and cumbersome. Please remember to take occasional breaks while in costume to not injure yourself. I take no responsibility for any physical harm that could come from mis-use or over-use of my products.
Please remember that I am a one-man company, and that every suit is a one-of-a-kind, handmade piece of wearable art. This means that minor things like a loose thread sticking out, or a tiny glue glob by an eye edge might appear, even if I do my best to avoid these things.
If the suit has been altered by yourself or someone else, the warranty is voided.
In case your warranty has expired, or you want regular wear-and-tear fixed, I can repair your suit for a fee. The total fee will depend on what and how much needs fixing.
Shipping to and from me is to be covered by the client.
Please wash and clean your suit before sending it to me. Sending me a dirty fursuit will result in a 150 EUR washing fee.
Measurements and DTDs:
To be able to build you a fursuit, I will need certain information and/or items shipped to me from you.
- Head-only require head measurements taken with a measuring tape.
- Mini partials require head measurements taken with a measuring tape.
- Full partials require head measurements taken with a measuring tape, your EU shoe size, and measurements of your arm.
- Plantigrade 3/4th partials require head measurements taken with a measuring tape, your EU shoe size, measurements of your arm, and a pair of unused, clean boxers.
- Digitigrade 3/4th partials require head measurements taken with a measuring tape, your EU shoe size, measurements of your arm, and a well-made, sturdy duct tape dummy from the chest and down.
- Plantigrade and digitigrade fullsuits require head measurements taken with a measuring tape, your EU shoe size, and a well-made, sturdy duct tape dummy.
Duct tape dummies (DTDs) will have to be at least two layers thick, and to be made out of high quality duct tape. DTDs must be taped back up before being shipped to me, and be marked as ‘costume dummy’ with no value on the customs for the box (only for clients outside EU).
You will be provided with guides and important infomation on how to build your DTD roughly a month or two before I will need you to ship it to me.
If a dummy is too thin or otherwise unusable, I will have to request a new one. If this happens, your suit might be pushed down on the queue.
